Privacy Policy for Entryway

Entryway is a player for your own media servers (Emby, Jellyfin, Plex and others) and media files. It is built to play and manage your media without collecting personal data for sale, profiling, or advertising.

What the app collects: - Entryway contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. It does not collect personal information for analytics or marketing. - Server addresses, sign-in details, watch history, and settings are stored on your device. Playback, watch progress, and similar information go only to the media servers you add. - Entryway does not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Services the app connects to, directly from your device: - The media servers, file sources, and backup destinations you add, including Plex's sign-in service when you add a Plex account, and devices on your local network that you cast to. - Optional services, only when you use the features that need them: TMDB (lists and search, with your own API key), Douban (public recommendation lists), and danmaku providers such as DanDanPlay (the title or file being played is sent to find matching comments). - GitHub or the author's Gitea server, to check for new versions. Only the list of releases is requested; like any web request, these servers can see your IP address. Each of these services handles requests under its own privacy policy.

Your data: Uninstalling Entryway, or clearing its data, removes everything it stored on your device. Data kept by your media servers is managed on those servers.

Policy updates: This Privacy Policy is effective from September 16, 2026. It may be revised when needed. Any updates take effect once posted in this file/page. Continued use of Entryway after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Entryway 是一款播放你自己的媒体服务器（Emby、Jellyfin、Plex 等）与媒体文件的播放器。它只用来播放和管理你的媒体，不会为出售、画像或广告而收集个人数据。

App 收集什么： - Entryway 不含任何统计、广告或崩溃上报服务，不会为统计或营销收集个人信息。 - 服务器地址、登录信息、观看记录与设置都保存在你的设备上。播放、观看进度等信息只发送给你添加的媒体服务器。 - Entryway 不会出售或与第三方分享你的个人数据。

App 从你的设备直接连接的服务： - 你添加的媒体服务器、文件来源与备份位置；添加 Plex 账号时会用到 Plex 的登录服务；投屏时连接你局域网里的设备。 - 可选服务，仅在你使用相关功能时连接：TMDB（榜单与搜索，使用你自己的 API Key）、豆瓣（公开推荐榜单）、DanDanPlay 等弹幕服务（会发送正在播放的片名或文件信息以匹配弹幕）。 - GitHub 或作者的 Gitea 服务器，用于检查新版本。只请求版本列表；和任何网络请求一样，这些服务器能看到你的 IP 地址。上述服务各自按其隐私政策处理请求。

你的数据：卸载 Entryway 或清除其数据，会删除它在你设备上保存的全部内容。媒体服务器上的数据由这些服务器管理。

政策更新：本隐私政策自 2026 年 9 月 16 日起生效，必要时可能修订。更新在本文件/页面发布后即生效；更新后继续使用 Entryway 即表示你接受修订后的政策。
